This pin badge features a smiling figure, apparently in civilian dress and wearing a Great War era tin helmet, common to the Allied forces. He measures approximately 27mm high and on the reverse bears "Regd. 831991".
The MOTHS were a group formed in 1927 in South Africa in order to assist former soliders who fought during the Great War. They are still in existence today.
A rare piece, not often seen.
