Original World War Two, 24th Infantry Division Enlisted Man's Class A Tunic, African-American Soldier

An original US WW2 era Enlisted Man's Four Pocket dress tunic.  Condition is good, no mothing, rips or tears, but staining present on the front.

The tunic is furnished with;

1. A 24th Infantry Division patch on the left shoulder,

2. A U.S. and Quarter Master collar discs,

3. A reproduction ribbon rack comprising Good Conduct, American Defense and Asiatic-Pacific,

4. Matching PFC stripes,

6. A green Ruptured Duck patch,

7. Size Marked 36XL and named to Prince Chaiborne (38226453). Prince was an African American soldier, born in 1922 and enlisted on 22 September 1942 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

8. Five Overseas Bars.

Measured by hand as follows;

Pit to pit - 19", so c.36/37" chest,

Waist - 16" laid flat,

Shoulder seam to cuff - 26"

Shoulder to shoulder - 17"
