An original Victory Medal, length of replacement ribbon, correctly named to;

12762 PTE. A. HESSEY. L'POOL R.

Alfred Hessey was entitled to a 15 trio, as confirmed on the MIC, having arrived in France on 26 September 1915.  Medal has a replacement suspension ring. 

The 1915 Star medal rolls and MIC show that Alfred was convicted of desertion on 15 November 1917. Unfortunately the Court Martial records for this period are not digitally available on the National Archives website.
