I've struggled to find much information about this particular fake on the internet, but have seen it described in old books as a 'well known fake' - perhaps not so much anymore! Anyway, when I came across this Star, named identically to one I'd sold previously, and knowing they could not be the same Star, I decided to dig into it.....
