Custom Patch Service
We have now brought some of our production works in-house and so we are very pleased to now be able to offer a custom design service. We have found this very popular with re-enactors and historians looking for reproduction patches for odd and obscure units.
As we are no longer restricted by minimum order quantities when ordering from foreign manufacturers, we are able to produce those obscure and hard-to-find embroidered felt patches, at low cost and with low order volumes.
How It Works
1. Send us a photograph of the patch you wish to reproduce. This patch must be a felt backed patch and embroidered using a machine (don't worry, we'll tell you if we can or cannot produce them once we've received your email). If you don't have a photograph, describe the patch to us, size, colours etc.
2. Before we begin work, we will require payment for the order. In most cases, our minimum order quantity is 2 and the price will be in line with comparable patches we already sell (c. £4.99 to £7.99 each).
3. If we are able to replicate the design, we charge a design fee. This could be as low as £15.00, increasing as designs become larger or more intricate. We will send you a design image to proof and tweak as you like. Please note, once approved, our design fees are non-refundable in the event of late order cancellation or a return. The design stage will likely be 2-3 days.
4. Once approved we will commence production. This usually takes a further 2-3 days, but if we have to source materials (although we hold a large and varied selection), production may take as long as 14 days. We will endeavour to keep you informed during the production phase.
5. When ready, the items will be posted out to you.
Terms
1. We own the rights to any design or patch we produce. We can therefore, if we deem fit, reproduce this patch for general sale. If you want a design solely for your use, the design fee will be somewhat higher.
2. We accept returns in the normal manner, as per the Returns page on the website, with the additional proviso stated in point 1 of Terms above.
