A fascinating item, and not something we've ever come across before, but this is an unopen bundle of 1939/45 Star ribbon, still in it's original waxpaper ready for issue. The label suggests a packing date on 26 March 1956 and it appears to have originated from No. 25 Maintenance Unit, and R.A.F. formation based at RAF Hartlebury, near Kidderminster in Worcestershire.
