A beautiful example of an Officer's Class A dress uniform visor cap. Judging by the construction of the external band and lining, this is thought to be an inter-war variant and the smaller size Eagle on the cap supports this.
The top of the cap is doe-skin, lightly soiled commensurate with age, with three very small moth nips (pictured). The peak has a black underside, showing some wear to the painted finish but is nice and pliable. The lining inside is intact and in beautiful clean condition. The sweetband is coming loose and would benefit from being re-attached, but there is a laundry number hidden underneath in two places.
Size is approximately a 7.
