An original British 1914/15 Star Medal, length of replacement ribbon, correctly named to;

James Bennett was entitled to a 15 trio, having arrived in France on 17 July 1915 with the 2nd Special Company of the Royal Engineers (specialist in mortars). He was also entitled to the Military Medal and the Croix de Guerre. The MIC notes he died at home on 10 November 1918, literally one day before the armistice. He is buried at Kingston Cemetery and Crematorium.
His MM was Gazetted on 22 February 1918 and his Croix de Guerre on 23 July 1918.
