An original Victory Medal, length of replacement ribbon, correctly named to;

Charles Coldrick was entitled to a 14 Star trio, and Silver War Badge, with the MIC noting he was discharged on 11 December 1916.
He is noted in Soldiers Died as having died of wounds on 10 November 1916, whilst serving with the 1/6th Battalion.
CWGC notes he is buried at Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, suggesting he passed away from wounds received, at the South Midland Casualty Clearning Station, which used the Cemetery from September 1916 to March 1917.
The war diary is fairly brief for November 1916, but does show some front line work at Scott's Redoubt, near Albert, on the Somme.
