An original World War Two medal grouping comprising 1939/45 Star, Italy Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, 1939/45 War Medal, 1937 Coronation Medal and George V Territorial Force Efficiency Medal. Court mounted.
The group does not make a huge amount of sense as the TFEM is the pre-1921 TFEM and not the WW2 era TEM.
The 1939/45 and France and Germany Stars have been neatly, privately engraved. The same cannot be said for the Defence Medal, 1939/45 War Medal and the TFEM, which have been crudely named.
All have some variation of 2043437 Sgt. H. Seaman.
It looks as though he may have been a bit of a 'Walt'. His name does not appear on the 1937 Coronation Medal rolls. Closer inspection of the TFEM shows it appears to have been skimmed and re-named.
Group sold with miniatures, but without the TFEM.
