A collection of nine World War Two era photographs, all with hand written annotation on the rear, reading "Sudsbury", and some variation on 'England '44'. This can only be RAF Sudbury, home of the 8th Air Force 486th Bomb Group, one of the groups which converted from the B-24 to the B-17 mid-war.

One of the photographs is named "Cpl Aton" and this chap is in at least four of the photographs. Three of the photographs are taken out side the same barracks hut.
