An original South African Brodie helmet, differing from the British variant in being slightly rounder and having three holes punched above the neckline for installation of a sun flap. Helmet has been repainted, but condition is good. No maker marks found on the helmet.
Liner is intact, a little crunchy perhaps. 1943 date and manufacturer mark inside the liner. Maker difficult to read but thought to be Jager-Rand.
