Reproduction Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) awarded for gallantry in the field. This medal is a reproduction of the full size medal, struck in a zinc alloy and nickel plated. The original medal was solid silver. The Distinguished Conduct Medal was established in 1854 by Queen Victoria as a decoration for gallantry in the field by other ranks of the British Army.
The medal is ideal to help create a tribute to a family member who served and saves having priceless originals on display for 'anyone' to see. We also have a selection of other medals for sale, both reproduction and original medals.
