The title is of World War One origin, when the Battalion formed part of the Loyal Edmonton Regiment. The title was revived for those serving in the unit when it was remobilsed and attached to the 1st Canadian Division during the Second World War. They saw action in Norway, Sicily, Italy and France during the Second War.
Part of our Made in England range, this patch has been designed and produced by British craftsmen in the UK. We use either cotton or cotton/polyester blend thread, depending upon the nature of the patch, sewn onto a wool or wool blend felt backing with a 100% cotton base.
Made in small batches and cut by hand, so sizing and colours will vary slightly, approx. 120mm width. Green lettering on a royal blue background.
