These are our reproduction World War Two era American enlisted man's garrison cap. An original example has been used, as with most of our reproductions, in order to closely mimic the shape, the material, the sizing and the feel of our items. We are living historians ourselves and only sell items we have designed in house with our manufacturers, and would be happy to wear to an event.
The have been constructed from olive drab wool twill, with a leather sweatband. This variant has the rounded ends. It does not have piping (which a soldier can wear to indicate belonging to a particular branch), meaning this is a universal cap. We have also taken time and effort to recreate an original label, stitched correctly inside the sweatband. Sold in sizes 7 to 7 3/4 (56 to 62).
Our unpiped garrison caps were used in the UK touring production of Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
