Part of our Made in England range, this patch has been designed and produced by British craftmen in the UK. We use either cotton or cotton/polyester blend thread, depending upon the nature of the patch, sewn onto a wool or wool blend felt backing with a 100% cotton backing as a stiffener.
This patch has been designed by hand, so that like the originals, the different squares are not quite identical in size.
Made in small batches so sizing varies, but these are approximately 70mm x 24mm.
The Argylls wore the patch during World War Two before it was fazed out around 1942. The flash was adopted again by the Regiment in 1948.
