An original US WW2 era Officer's Four Pocket dress tunic, being the tan/tropical cotton variant. Owner was a two war veteran, with a clutch back ribbon rack showing serving the ETO during World War Two as well as the Korean War.
The tunic is further furnished with;
1. Non-matching U.S. Collar Dogs, no clutches,
2. Matching Amico Inspector General Branch of Service Collar Dogs, with flat back clutches, denoting World War Two manufacture,
3. Post World War Two Major's oak leaf rank insignia,
4. Army Service Corps patch on the left shoulder and 3rd Army patch on the right shoulder,
5. Battery Uniform Company label, Fifth Avenue, New York City.
Measured by hand as follows;
Pit to pit - 21.5", so c.40-42" chest,
Waist - 20" laid flat,
Shoulder seam to cuff - 26"
Shoulder to shoulder - 18.5"
