Genuine period pieces, not reproductions, rarely seen, this lot comprising;

  1. The Program for the 303rd's Second Anniversary celebrations, dated 24 September 1944.  It's essentially a humourous souvenir issued by the CO to the men to get them in the mood for a huge party.
  2. A Cover Letter, dated May 1945 from Colonel Sipes, the CO, to be sent with item 3, below.
  3. This book, celebrating the achievements of the Bomb Group was sent to all relatives of the men of the unit, packed full of photos and information, having been printed in Beccles, Norfolk, England. There is a significant crease in the book, see photographs, but it can be still be read. One staple beginning to lose it's grip and I suspect the booklet has been stored away for years, some crinkling from a damp atmosphere present.
  4. A photographic sheet, apparently period, celebrating VE Day, numerous images of the 303rd featured.
