Mobilised in 1940, the Regiment was initially designated for Home Defence, before moving to England in June 1943, landing in Normandy on 25 July 1944, part of the 4th Canadian Armoured Division. They fought in north west Europe for the remainder of the war.
Part of our Made in England range, this patch has been designed and produced by British craftsmen in the UK. We use either cotton or cotton/polyester blend thread, depending upon the nature of the patch, sewn onto a wool or wool blend felt backing with a 100% cotton base.
Made in small batches and cut by hand, so sizing and colours will vary slightly, approx. 120mm width. Light yellow lettering on a royal blue background.
